Stowey Walking Launch

Stowey Walking - the Walkers Are Welcome name for Over Stowey and Nether Stowey was formally launched today in a ceremony in Nether Stowey.

The great and the good attended the event - only slightly marred by the fact that village saw it's most intense downpour for many years and the planned inaugural walk had to be postponed for fear that teh participants may well have got washed away!

Representatives from both Nether and Over Stowey attended and received their official certificates and many of the local organisations who have helped set up this scheme came along to support this momentous achievement.
